Kenley Jansen RP LAD Oct 29 '12

Kenley Jansen says he's feels "so much better" now than he did before undergoing a heart ablation last week.

During the three-hour operation, abnormal tissue in Jansen's heart was cauterized to stop the erratic electrical signals sent from the area. "I feel so much better now than I did at the end of the season," Jansen said Monday. "I was dragging all day long at the end. I can tell I've got so much more energy." Jansen will be on blood thinners for three months but will be allowed to throw regularly off a mound. He anticipates being "full strength and good to go" for the start of spring training.
