The Twins have declined the $6 million club option on Matt Capps' contract for 2013.
He'll receive a $250,000 buyout and will hit free agency this winter. Capps was limited to just 30 appearances this season due to a rotator cuff injury, posting a 3.68 ERA, 14 saves and 18/4 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings.
