Diamondbacks acquired RHP Heath Bell and cash considerations from the Marlins for INF Yordy Cabrera.
Bell was a major disappointment this season for the Fish after signing a three-year, $27 million contract over the winter. The Marlins will cover most of what remains on that deal. The Diamondbacks will use the veteran right-hander as a middle reliever. He is done holding fantasy value.
