Carlos Beltran (knee) said he's ready to play in Game 5 of the NLCS against the Giants on Friday.
Beltran received acupuncture in his left knee on Friday and ran some sprints without incident. While he wants to give it a shot, Cardinals manager Mike Matheny will have the final say on whether he's in the starting lineup.
