Jonathan Niese was terrific in Friday's victory over the Braves, allowing one run on four hits over seven strong frames.
Niese struck out three and also walked three in the contest. The only blemish on his night was a solo homer allowed to Freddie Freeman in the fourth inning. He finishes his season on a high note, compiling a 13-9 record, 3.40 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 155/49 K/BB ratio over 190 1/3 innings.
