Austin Jackson doubled and roped a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Royals.
Jackson took Jeremy Guthrie deep in the fourth. The home run was his 16th of the season, giving him a new career best by six. Jackson is hitting .304/.383/.489 with 54 extra-base hits after batting just .249/.317/.374 in 2011. The Curtis Granderson/Jackson trade has proven quite beneficial for both sides.
