Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that the reported "complications" during Mariano Rivera's doctor visit will have no bearing on his ability to come back from a torn ACL in his right knee.

Rivera's agent, Fernando Cuza, told George A. King III of the New York Post that his client "ran into complications" during his doctor visit on Monday, but declined to go into any specifics. It's possible that the surgery is just being delayed, but the Yankees have yet to provide an official update. Regardless, Rivera is expected to miss the rest of the season and intends to make a comeback in 2013.
