Angel Sanchez (back) will not make his spring debut Thursday as previously hoped.
Sanchez has been dealing with a tight back this spring after slipping and falling while taking his mother's luggage down a flight of stairs in early-February. The 28-year-old infield took took batting practice off coaches on Tuesday and tracked pitches against minor leaguers, but he's apparently not close to game-ready.
