Angel Sanchez (back) fielded ground balls and took swings off a tee Wednesday.
Sanchez is being brought along slowly this spring after injuring his back while taking his mother's luggage down a flight of stairs in early-February. "It felt way better than [Tuesday], so it's improving," said Sanchez. The 28-year-old infielder is a non-roster player this spring after batting just .240/.305/.285 with one home run and 28 RBI in 110 games last season at the major league level.
