Rodriguez (back) will throw a bullpen session Wednesday, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports. The Dodgers were forced to scratch Rodriguez from his scheduled simulated game last weekend following a minor setback, but he's been cleared to return to elevated ground Wednesday. If all goes well, he could pitch a simulated game Friday or Saturday, with activation likely to come shortly thereafter. Rodriguez has made 13 appearances with the major league club this season but has spent most of the year at Triple-A Albuquerque, posting a 2.35 ERA and .224 BAA against opposing lefties.
