Phillips (thumb) will continue his rehab at Low-A Dayton on Sunday, after which he'll be re-examined by team doctors Monday. Phillips was encouraged by his progress, as indicated by manager Bryan Price's comments. "He and I did a little back and forth this morning," Reds manager Bryan Price said before Phillips played his second game on Saturday. "He was really excited about how good he felt. I don't know if he expected to feel as good as he did. He had a lot of action defensively and three at-bats. He came out of it feeling pretty good." Pryce further cautioned that the team isn't making any firm plans until that re-examination Monday morning.
