Sale threw an absolute gem Tuesday, pitching eight shut-out innings, allowing just four hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters before seeing his bullpen blow a 2-0 lead in the ninth inning to the Giants. Granted he didn't get the win Tuesday, Sale is pitching lights-out once again this year. With a 10-2 record, 2.01 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 150:24 K:BB ratio in 130 innings pitched, Sale is a legitimate candidate for the AL Cy Young Award this year. Sale's next start is scheduled for Sunday at home against the Blue Jays.
