Doug Fister gave up two runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings Monday in a win over the Rockies. Fister wasn't at his best tonight, but he didn't need to be against a Rockies lineup missing Troy Tulowitzki, Justin Morneau and Michael Cuddyer. He still managed to take a shutout into the sixth inning before giving up five hits and a walk in the frame. Fortunately, Aaron Barrett was able to strand the bases loaded by striking out Brandon Barnes.
