Astros placed RHP Anthony Bass on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 11 with a right intercostal strain. It's not clear at this point how long Bass will be sidelined. The reliever has recorded a pair of saves this season for the Astros, but the last one came on April 12. Josh Fields has replaced him on the roster.
