Athletics optioned RHP Dan Straily to Triple-A Sacramento. Straily entered the season with some breakout potential, but he's been booted from the rotation after posting a 4.93 ERA over his first seven starts. Drew Pomeranz will take over Straily's spot. The righty certainly figures to get another shot later this season.
