Braves general manager Frank Wren said that declining Reed Johnson's contract option doesn't preclude the possibility of the veteran outfielder's return. The Braves declined Johnson's $1.6 million option for the 2014 season on Monday, opting instead to pay him a $150,000 buyout. Johnson slashed a measly .244/.311/.341 in limited run with Atlanta this past season. Johnson, a career .311/.366/.456 hitter against lefties who can play all three outfield positions, should find a major league contract this winter.
