Milone, who had offseason surgery to remove a benign tumor from his neck, has been throwing without issues this spring, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. It sounds like Milone will fully be ready for spring training. He'll compete with Alex Meyer, Trevor May, Tim Stauffer and Mike Pelfrey for the fifth starter role this spring.
