Kalish and the Blue Jays failed to complete the minor-leauge contract they agreed to last month, making the outfielder a free agent, Sportsnet's Shi Davidi reports. A reason for the dissolution of the deal hasn't been provided. Kalish was expected to provide outfield depth for the Blue Jays at the Triple-A level with a shot at competing for a reserve role with the big club in spring training, but he'll now have to pursue an opportunity elsewhere.
