Jaso (concussion) will visit a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, after which he could be cleared to return to the Athletics, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports. The exam will clear Jaso to be activated this week, as expected, but his amount of immediate playing time will be unknown until his status is more clear. He likely won't be afforded much time at DH due to the acquisition of Adam Dunn on Aug. 31, while he may not be available as a backstop right off the bat, either.
