Kalish has had his contract purchased by the Cubs and will join the team down the stretch, MLB.com's Carrie Muskat reports. He has hit just .252/.323/.406 with Triple-A Iowa, and doesn't offer much fantasy upside. It's also unlikely that the Cubs would give him many looks considering all the other players on the roster that will need to be evaluated over the final month.
