Volquez was sharp again Friday night allowing just one run on three hits, walking three and striking out six over 7.2 innings, but was left with a no-decision against the Reds. He was working on a no-hitter through six innings and didn't allow a run until the eighth, but he was matched virtually pitch-for-pitch by Mike Leake of the Reds. He'll take on the Cardinals in St. Louis in his next outing.
