Cashner (shoulder) will start Saturday against the Diamondbacks, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Cashner gave up three runs on four hits and a walk while fanning four over five innings in his final rehab start for Triple-A El Paso on Monday. The training staff has cleared the right-hander to oppose Vidal Nuno on Saturday in what will be his first big league start since June 18. Shoulder and elbow issues have limited Cashner to just 12 starts this season, but he should not have any restrictions over the final weeks of the season.
