Trades

Team owners can trade players and draft picks year-round. A trade is when team owners exchange players and/or future draft picks among each other. Fleaflicker allows owners to make huge blockbuster trades involving multiple teams, just like the pros.

To propose a trade, click Propose A New Trade from the Trades tab. Next, select your trading partners. You can choose 1 or more trade partners. You are now ready to construct your trade. Each team must give something and receive something (i.e., at least one pick or one player). Click Add a Player or Add a Draft Pick to add to a particular team's acquisitions. Any team that receives more players than it gives up must drop players to keep the transaction balanced. These players will not be dropped immediately. They are only dropped if and when the trade is actually executed. Teams that give up more players than they receive can simply add players to fill out their roster.

After you propose a trade, the other owners involved will be notified. If any owner rejects the trade, the trade is closed. If this happens, you can search for the trade under My Trades and make a counteroffer by clicking Counter. If all parties accept the trade, the trade is made visible to the rest of the league. League members then have a chance to veto the trade. A veto is a vote that blocks a trade. If half of the remaining league members veto the trade, the trade is canceled. If the trade is not vetoed during the 24 hour review period, it will automatically be processed.
