Pretty much as topic suggests, is there anyway to cut a player during our rookie draft.

The next team up have the maximum number of WRs but want to drop one so they can use next pick on one.

I am commish, but can't find any way to do this - can anyone offer solution?

The only way to do this in an e-mail draft is for the last team to cut the last player taken, and then the previous team can cut the last player taken. This essentially is an "undo" option -- but all teams must comply as the commissioner doesn't have the option to do this like they do in live drafts.

Unfortunately it is one of the manager's keeper selections made before draft that he now wishes to drop. I assume there is no way to do so?

Unfortunately you can't cut one of the keepers not selected in the draft when the e-mail draft has started already.

We need to get this option added as it is a pain point for us. As teams realize in the third round there is someone better than the guy on their roster they need to be able to cut that guy on the fly when they go to draft.

It's something on our to-do agenda. While we have no timetable on it, we do realize incorporating these enhancements to the e-mail draft is vital. Thank you for the feedback.

Has this been fixed in 2021?

All you have to do is pause the email draft by going to settings>> stop email draft>> Stop but continue later (the yellow button on left). Then click on edit rosters, select the team in drop down menu to cut the player from, cut them, then click at bottom these are complete rosters but still draft this season. Then go back to settings and click start email draft again and it will continue the draft from same spot you stopped it at with results still showing from before and then that team can pick whatever player they want to.
