Owner Jerry Jones confirmed that DeMarco Murray will remain a "workhorse" even though Felix Jones (ankle) is expected back Sunday. It's a no-brainer. Over the last four games, Murray has averaged 150.2 rushing yards per game while breaking off 8.01 yards per carry. "One thing that comes to my mind is that Murray looks like the more he carries, the more effective he gets," Jerry Jones said. The owner went on to hint that Felix could "step in" 12 or 13 times per game, but we'd be surprised if he got that much work. Murray is locked in as the feature back.

Murray, McCoy and Lynch - Which 2?

Lynch is going against last place Rams rush defense. Murray against #18 rush deffense and McCoy against #20 rush defense.

McCoy is my stud but tough call this week.

robthecarpetguy Sat 11/19/11 4:25 AM

murray and mccoy no question...

RAMFAM2009 Wed 11/16/11 10:31 PM

I have Demarco Murry, Reggie Bush, Brandon Jacobs, and Darren McFadden so what two should I start this week?

Therrien Wed 11/16/11 10:37 PM

Murray and Jacobs

RAMFAM2009 Wed 11/16/11 10:42 PM

Yeah I was thinking Murray but unsure about the second option. Reggie has been doing well lately, McFadden has been hurt but might play, and Jacobs hadn't been very consistant. I appreciate your thoughts.

Therrien Wed 11/16/11 10:43 PM

Jacobs is against the Eagles run d, i think he should put up some nice fantasy points this weekend.

RAMFAM2009 Wed 11/16/11 10:48 PM

I sure hope so I just put him in the starting lineup. My other issue is WR because of byes I only have Greg Jennings and Eric Decker.

DaColts865 Wed 11/16/11 11:54 PM

There is no bradshaw so I would play Jacobs, I am

robthecarpetguy Sat 11/19/11 4:26 AM

id start murray and reggie if its ppr. mcfaddens out

SilkNasty420 Wed 11/16/11 7:57 PM

Murray or Mike Bush for a #2 option? I got AP as my #1 option.

Therrien Wed 11/16/11 9:31 PM

Murray for sure

ttfootball Wed 11/16/11 10:31 PM

murray

robthecarpetguy Thu 11/17/11 2:35 AM

murray for sure

TonyBalowknee Thu 11/17/11 5:12 AM

thats my combo, Adrian Peterson and DeMarco Murray. together this week (11) they have 47 projected FPT's. if anything like last week, it will be around 50 PT's

Spartans23 Wed 11/16/11 3:22 PM

im starting murray forsure but who should i start at flex jones-drew or rice?

DaColts865 Wed 11/16/11 4:07 PM

MJD is facing a browns defense that is 25th against fantasy RBs. and rice is playing the bengals who place 5th, and seeing last week that rice only got 5 carries for 27 yards. and MJD got good points(even though he played the colts). personally, i would start MJD this week

TonyBalowknee Thu 11/17/11 5:20 AM

yea "even though he played the colts" the Indianapolis Colts are 0-10. not much of a team this year.

DaColts865 Fri 11/18/11 7:13 PM

yeah cause manning is the most valuable player to any team in the NFL, and this year shows it

BIGJ1003 Wed 11/16/11 8:52 PM

I would go with MJD just based on the matchup.

Spartans23 Wed 11/16/11 3:21 PM

forte and murray

AlZachWill Wed 11/16/11 1:26 PM

So who do I play in a 2 back set, Forte, Turner, or Murray? What combo?

rpendlum Wed 11/16/11 2:08 PM

forte and murray are cant sit rb's in my opinion so that leaves turner as odd man out.. only way that would change is if one of them is going against a badass defence and turner is playing a bottom 3rd run defence

Ddeinhardt Wed 11/16/11 2:29 PM

FORTE and MURRAY I say MURRAY because in the last 4 games he is avg over 150.8 yards per game

BIGJ1003 Wed 11/16/11 8:52 PM

Forte & Murray

Ddeinhardt Wed 11/16/11 10:23 AM

Murry is a BEAST and Felix is looking like Felix THE CAT.... I am not sure if people have notice but Felix might be a great back but really how great is he really.... I was big on Felix till I really looked at his numbers...... He only has 8 rushing touchdowns since being in the NFL..... And he only has about 2006 rushing yards off of 395 carries since being in the NFL........He has only seen the end zone 3 times in the last 2 years...... Felix THE CAT

robthecarpetguy Thu 11/17/11 2:40 AM

felix is DEFINITLY a Pussy Cat

Michakav Tue 11/15/11 9:43 PM

I swear to all that is mighty, if Frangible Felix takes away from this guy, I will lose my mind. Murray is clearly a better back, plus he is on fire.

jpatrick Thu 11/17/11 3:17 PM

Jerry Jones said Felix the Cat may only get 10 carries a game.

Youngblood Tue 11/15/11 5:29 PM

That's definitely the right decision, but it is rediculous that the press would even ask the owner what is happening with day to day coaching decisions. Jones wonders why the Cowboys haven't done anything in almost 20 years. Maybe Garrett wanted to keep teams guessing what he was going to do no matter how obvious it is instead of flat out telling them how he is going to use his players. A guy who is an expert in oil probably shouldn't be making those type of decisions.

SilkNasty420 Wed 11/16/11 12:25 AM

He's the man wether u like it or not. Jason Garret is a only a puppet. Jerry Jones isnt an idiot. He says who starts and who sits no matter how much oil he got. He's a football guy. Trust me

Youngblood Wed 11/16/11 2:05 AM

We all love football. Thats why we watch and play fantasy football, but they have won exactly 1 playoff game in 15+ years. I'm not saying that he football, and he is more than capable of running the franchise itself. He took a penniless football team, and spent every dime he had to buy it, a crazy risk at the time, and turned it into a cash cow. He still would be better served to hire a coach to handle the coaching duties instead of being a "puppet." He obviously didn't hire Garrett to be a puppet, or he wouldn't have paid him more than $3 million a year to keep him in dallas as a coordinator a couple years ago when some head coaches don't make that much.

SilkNasty420 Wed 11/16/11 10:01 AM

U said an "expert in oil" shouldn't be making those decisions but u are wrong. The guy's a genious. He earned the right to make those decisions and also u gotta pay a Dallas coach a good bit of money just cuz he is a "Dallas Coach". Its how they do things over there. Your probably from Colorado so u think anyone in oil isn't smart. It keeps us living from day to day. I hope ur not a "go green" guy....... Anyway.....Murray is a beast and Felix should sit! Jerry Jones, Jason Garret, the fans, should see that Murray is the better choice......Obviously!!

Youngblood Wed 11/16/11 2:27 PM

I am pretty sure I didn't say anything about Jerry Jones being stupid. I said he was a great business man. I don't know how you assumed that I thought he was stupid from that. Being a great businessman does not make a guy stupid, and being a good head coach definitely doesn't make a guy smart. That was a really good guess that I'm probably from Colorado, or maybe you just looked at my profile. I think you have Colorado confused with California or Vermont or something. Just because people in Colorado don't screw their sisters doesn't mean that they are tree huggers. I'm not sure that I have ever met someone that is against drilling for oil.

Anyway, that is exactly what I said about Murray in my first post. He should obviously be the main guy with Felix being the 3rd down back, but why do they ask the owner these questions and not the head coach. The reason Jerry Jones burns through coaches like underwear is because he expects them to be figure heads while he makes all the decisions, and not many coaches will put up with that for long. When was the last time you heard someone ask Zigi Wilf whether Adrian Peterson was going to play on Sunday, or ask Leonard Tose whether Michael Vick is going to be their starter. It doesn't happen, and the only 2 franchises (now just one) that have owners that work this way haven't had any success in a long time. Al Davis ran his franchise into the ground with his Jerry Jones thinking, which is: Spend a lot of money on playmakers, less on the vital positions like the O-line, and hope that you can put on a great show whether you win or lose. Jerry Jones is an expert at being an owner, not so much as a head coach.

SilkNasty420 Wed 11/16/11 7:48 PM

Dont read into it 2 much bro. It was meant to be a joke. I've been to colorado many times hunting skiing. I have freinds from there. All i'm saying is jerry runs his show even if he makes crappy decisions at times but thats their problem. Thats not my home team anyway. He shoulda kept wade to run the d but he got rob now. Garret is ok. They like playing for him. Idk what they see in romo though. Cut your losses,ya know?

AJones23 Wed 11/16/11 8:17 PM

you got a broncos picture next to your name...wonder how he took such a good guess. No one outside of colorado would call for tebow like you're STUPID fans.

Youngblood Thu 11/17/11 2:26 AM

Yeah actually my profile says I'm from Colorado anyway. I wasn't one of those fans, but I promise it would have happened in any city where the QB was struggling. It's not like people from Colorado are any more partial to Tebow than any other place. Florida is a long way away. Tebow is one of the most popular players in the nation whether he deserves it or not. The Broncos are winning, so something is working. One big difference between Tebow and Orton is that Tebow does not turn the ball over. You don't have to have a star QB to win in this league. You just have to play good defense, and not turn the ball over. (e.g. Ravens, 49ers, Bengals, Jets, Titans, Bears, etc). The 49ers also use a college offense, and have a less than stellar QB, but they play tough defense and Alex Smith has learned not to turn the ball over and now they are 8-1 when all the experts thought they would be a bad team.

G-R-I-M Tue 11/15/11 4:52 PM

Clearly what Jerry wants is what Jerry gets - Glad that we didn't have to wait for the coach to say something.

Gruett Wed 11/16/11 4:34 PM

do i trade murray colston and vincent jackson for MJD Calvin Johnson and steve smith...thoughts??

Gruett Wed 11/16/11 4:41 PM

and i give beanie wells

G-R-I-M Wed 11/16/11 6:27 PM

Definitely an upgrade @ WR - BUT it depends who your starting rb's are - if MJD is an add to a RB1 then you're alright. Murray will continue to be a beast the rest of the way so if your thin in the backfield keep him and use beanie to fish for a high WR2...a lot of teams need RB's (in 12-14 team leagues) these days.

SilkNasty420 Wed 11/16/11 7:55 PM

Not bad if u really need it

Gruett Thu 11/17/11 12:02 AM

got have mcgahee as my other back

tyler_edwards Thu 11/17/11 10:07 PM

take the trade

SilkNasty420 Fri 11/18/11 12:24 AM

Murray or Michael Bush this week?
