Wes Welker (rib) is listed as probable for Week 10 after returning to a full practice Friday. The Jets are apparently going to shadow Revis in the slot Sunday night, but we'd still be inclined to start Welker because he's leading the NFL in receiving yards and Revis will be playing out of position. It doesn't hurt that Welker has historically shredded the Jets, including a 5-124 line in Week 5.

Welker is a BEAST! Especially in a PPR league. But it seems like he hasn't been showing what he did in the first few weeks. Should i play him?

Of course you should play him, who else would u start over him on your team?

LOL!, unless you have megatron you don't sit welker

MagnumPIgskin Sat 11/12/11 2:46 PM

Always start your STUDS!!!

Thanks guys. I was about to play Lynch for Welker and look what happened.

kotyk Mon 11/14/11 9:43 AM

If you had to rely on a wild play to win then your team was not good enough in the first place. You would trust lynch over welker??? You would have been rolling the dice even more with lynch, it was luck he scored 20, how many 20pt games has that guy had in the last 2 years? You always play a stud especially if he is consistent. Sorry, stuff happens, lynch is on a bad team and put up 20, like anyone saw that coming...

I'm 9 and 1. If you think that i don't have a very good team then you have a problem. And I'm in a PPR league so Lynch actually got 27.7 points. I was just mad because its getting towards the end of the season and I need all the points I can get. I know that Revis was covering Welker but it seems like Gronkowski is becoming more of a target in the red zone.

And Lynch actually got 21 points last week so I was thinking about starting him.
