The Raiders are planning to work out free agent TE Kevin Boss. Landing Boss would certainly help lessen the sting the Raiders are feeling from their stunning loss of Zach Miller. Boss is not nearly the pass catcher Miller is, but is an elite blocker. Boss hinted he'd be open to signing with the Raiders last month. He'd be about as good a Miller consolation prize as Oakland could hope for.
