Devin Hester went to the locker room for an IV in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Lions, and will not return. He caught an untimely case of strep throat. The Bears might have brought back Hester if the game were close, but Chicago was whipping Detroit 34-6 by the 9:46 mark in the third quarter in a dominant defense and special teams effort. Earlier in the game, Hester busted an 82-yard touchdown on a punt return. He finished without a reception.
